This system allows the "old" countries to rank higher. It would be better to take account the number of the participating counties each year and adjust the results . Still great video

Yugoslavia being in the TOP 10, not even existing, is my favorite thing now. Amazing country it was indeed

It is strange to see Germany in the top 10, especially after the last 10 years. I really hope we'll get better again, so that this place remains justified not only because of the many participations. (But that is probably very much dependent on our broadcaster NDR.)
  • This is the list for 2000-2022: 1. Italy 2. Russia 3. Ukraine 4. Sweden 5. Turkey 6. Azerbaijan 7. Bosnia and Herzegovina 8. Greece 9. Australia 10. Serbia 11. Romania 12. Norway 13. Armenia 14. Serbia and Montenegro 15. France 16. Germany 17. Denmark 18. Spain 19. Moldova 20. United Kingdom 21. Hungary 22. Malta 23. Israel 24. Iceland 25. Estonia 26. Lithuania 27. Cyprus 28. Netherlands* 29. Croatia 30. Albania 31. Belgium 32. Poland 33. Austria 34. Portugal 35. Bulgaria 36. Finland 37. Georgia 38. Ireland 39. Latvia 40. Switzerland 41. North Macedonia 42. Slovenia 43. Belarus 44. Czech Republic 45. Montenegro 46. San Marino 47. Andorra 48. Slovakia 49. Monaco *The Netherlands and Croatia both had an average placement of 21.95, and even though the Netherlands had an average placement of 21.9524 and Croatia had an average placement of 21.9500, the Netherlands competed more times (21) than Croatia (20), so the Netherlands has a better average placement than Croatia. It’s kinda depressing that Andorra never qualified, I actually quite like their 2007 entry.
  • Wow their average place in 47 entries is 7.28! Italy is so good at Eurovision!!
  • It feels so odd seeing Ireland this low even with all their wins... They really need to get their heads back into the game!

  • @discogareth
As least the UK’s dark 20 years didn’t harm it too much.
  • My country Slovakia not being last 💚 🇸🇰 proud slovak noises 😂 We're even before Czechia 😆
  • @sesik_
    Thank for Italyyy Forza Italia🇮🇹🥰😌
  • @ImStevan
if it's simply taking the placing, this is quite skewed towards older countries that competed when coming last was (by this video's logic) better than coming 20th in say 2022
  • After many years I Still laughing for 🇱🇹 Lithuanian best result (2006) 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
  • @girlmeowth
Lithuanian best result is totally iconic! Winner for me 🤩
