Screw up an install, no one bats an eye, forget to super twist a wire nut and everyone loses their minds.
  • That's actually spot on. They all said I would not make it untill I made it then they all wanted to have me on they team. The secret is to prove them wrong and not take it personal
  • This is how it is sometimes. They expect you to know everything your first day
  • Been a installer for a year now and one thing I learn in this trade is favoritism makes this trade goes around .. If they don’t like you they don’t train you 🤷🏾‍♂️🥴
  • @dustinpomeroy8817
And this is why nobody wants to be in the trades, life is too short to be treated like shit all day.
  • 😂🤣😂 I went to trade school for electrical worked as an electrician apprentice and I've noticed that I enjoy being in HVAC more mostly because it deals with people and the work is awesome!!! Always something to do!!! If you reading this you are Loved by The Most High!!!
  • @The_Honcho
I’ll never forget my first month in the trade and a lead actually told me “We assume you just know these things” after telling him I have utterly no experience in this work
  • @saltvpn671
Old tradesmen are the worst. They pass this shit off as normal to anyone who stays.
  • @seanmathews1826
Yeah that was my boss back in 1992. If your boss or other techs at the company aren't willing to help you learn go find another place to work and tell those people to kick rocks.
  • My 2nd day on the job n this is the same shit i just experienced 😂
  • @mikey4396
So true, when I was young no one wants to train you but if you keep going you'll eventually find a company you can learn at.
  • @brahseph2066
So glad to know im not alone, 2nd week on the job and this dude has had me rethink my career choice 10 times
  • @G4BEU
I was looking at my group of 3 (2 senior techs and myself) rebuild a condenser and I was just observing to soak up all the info I can like a sponge . The teacher said “looks like you guys are struggling there” and one of the senior techs in my group said “ would be easier if certain people didn’t just look and helped out“ it was literally my second week 😢 bro made me unmotivated to learn for a couple days NGL . He made me feel dumb .

Kinda how my last boss was lol.Needless to say I quit before I got fired wasn't worth the pay and headache to stay.
  • @IFIXCASTLES
This is why there are so few plumbers and electricians...
  • @Killerbuckets23
Exactly right and I got let go by the company because of the S.O.B technician I worked with who always ran his mouth about me “not gonna make it” and thinking the whole company revolved around him just because he was the longest tenured employee.
  • @DarkVileScream
This hurts my soul, I'm in training, and I had a few good and some BAD techs
  • @b-2466
This is 100% accurate. They don't want to teach you but expect you to know everything.
