I'm glad I came across this video I've been watching bodybuilding competitions for years now and always just thought my judging skills were way off. Good to know I might not be as bad as I thought haha

I think you're right in the points you make. We all tend to believe by habit,which always makes it virtually impossible (in a subjective situation) to unseat a multiple titled contestant.

I used to think maybe politics had something to do with the results of Olympia. But bro you gotta know that these pictures don't show the pop in the muscles for phil. On stage and in person, phil's muscle popped and was just crazy. Nobody else had that. It could be his skin tone and oil and muscle combined to give that effect. It's CRAZY

Awesome review of the "contest", I totally agree with you and I think you should have 1,000,000 views by now. Sadly, that is not going to happen because people lie and liked to be lied. Again, I salute you and keep up the good work,dude!

I'm using the prefrontal cortex of my brain, and it's telling me the judges seem to know in advance where competitors will place because they attended the pre-judging and saw who was compared to who in which callouts.

Hi really good video and I totally agree with your assessment - there are also some interesting photo's of Phil Heath in the 2014 O with a really big gut as well which he didn't seem to get marked down on either.

Bro, men's physic is just that, PHYSIC. Not huge muscles. It's all about proportion and no "freaky" muscle.

It's weird seeing the pictures that were taken during some of those posses, because they offer a different perspective from what you see in video. I actually agree that Kai looks better in some of those posses judging from those pics. But seeing the actual live footage, I gotta say that Phil Heath to me still looked better than the rest. Sure he's not as big as some of the others but he's got a 'rounder' physique that stands out more than the rest. For example front lat spread and side tricep are 2 posses that he dominates in imo. 

Had to turn off video once you said Kai is more symmetrical than Phil in the front double bicep......uhm NO

There's definitely something to be said about how politics factors into the final decision.  The Bodybuilding industry is full of secrets and shadow, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are trying to turn phil heath into the next golden boy, along with arnie and ronnie.  We have to remember, it's a SHOW.  It's there to entertain people. And make money. Maybe they'll give it to Kai next year.  Just building the hype for now.

I stopped listening to your video at about the 7 minute mark because, it is clear you have no idea what the judging criteria of a BB competition is. Furthermore, stop comparing pictures and go to an actual event and I think you will see a major difference between the two. 

If I was to choose between people's champion and `judges` champ I think people's crown best fit. They did what they normally do to frustrated real champs but deep down everybody knows who the winner is.

A agree to a degree with your comments, but you have to remember: there are multiple poses those guys show and Kai may have Phil beat on a front double bi, but thats just one pose. You didn't seem to be taking that into account
