  • 💔 I was homeless once. We are not pieces of garbage. We are human beings. Every living breathing thing survives & thrive with love & care. ❤
  • Billions and billions and billions of dollars spent on the homeless where did all the fucken money go? Its seems the problem only keeps getting worse.

Asinine. There is no way for police to determine if a homeless person has another place to sleep instead of outdoors.

Christ can solve this problem. But we have turned our back on him.

I was put out on the street without any respite for 8 years after I had Anterior Cervical Double discectomy spinal fusion surgery. It took eight years to get housing for 18 months.
  • The city is going to fine people too poor to afford shelter. Even judges must think this is stupid.
  • How do all of these moronic issues that are so ridiculous make it all the way to the Supreme Court to begin with? Are the lawyers just stretching everything out as long as possible to line their wallets?
  • @sl4983
Why aren't they doing this the right way and finding out why there are so many homeless? Have they interviewed each one?
  • Noble honest causes are now out of control nightmares. The whole city has to be miserable because of homelesx drug addicts.
  • At least they put them on buses. Yreka disappears their homeless in the middle of the night, never to be seen or heard from again. Literally.

On one hand, I do sympathize with the city because they only have so many resources. This is a national societal issue that we can resolve in our lifetime if we simply have the political will.
  • Everyone has rights, even if you happen to be homeless. I’m very glad this is being addressed.

Our family was homeless. In our state you cant get services if you don't have a residential address. Not every homeless person is a drug addict or mentally ill. In our case- our rent was raised $600.00 more per month without adequate notice, our landlord accepted the usual pyment (which we proved to the judge), sued us for eviction, landlord lied on summons, we won the appeal, was sued again for eviction, wasnt notified of new court date which was an automatic forfeiture on our part (my husband was in ICU on ventilator and passed away fr Covid "pneumonia"). It was a tragedy. Unscrupulous landlords got away with a lot of garbage during the pandemic and it is still continuing. Many, many seniors were evicted and live in their vehicles, too. Every homeless person has a story, folks. Sorry if this is rambling. This is an upsetting situation. The actions of the homeless that are already outlawed just need to be enforced-- no public urination, defecation, no panhandling, no loitering, etc.

I have schizophrenia. The punishment for me sleeping where I'm not allowed should be free hotel stay so I have access to a shower and bathroom for a day. Only reason I wasn't arrested the last three times I got caught is because the local prison is full. I hate the psych ward btw. I never go there willingly
  • @sl4983
Where do they bus them to
  • When on lower courts she became the most overturned judge to ascend to the Supreme Court.
  • @lorab1912
I called police to my home & they acted like couselors & ignored the obvious violence & fact that a 6 foot 3 inch 245lb man pulled phone out of the wall & had to call me back & I said he went upstairs change to long sleeve shirt to hide god only knows.
  • @TheRekluse
If they did their job and fixed the homeless issue, they wouldn't have a job anymore.
