  • I canโ€™t believe it took me 34 years to have heard about this, but Iโ€™m so grateful I did, such an amazing story of the men who gave me the tools to deal with โ€œlife on lifeโ€™s termsโ€ and gave me a life worth living๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ Eternally grateful Blessed since 1986โ™ฅ๏ธ

I'm am less than 24 hours with out a drink. I am an alcoholic and an addict. For years I have struggled with alcohol. I can't go on any longer seeing the disappointment in my mother's face when I walk in the house blasted out of my mind. I know if I don't stop this time I will never make it back. Thank you Bill.

I can not believe this exists. I am so blown away to be able to watch and hear Bill himself tell his story at a speakers meeting. Wow. To hear Dr. Bob died directly from the mouth of Bill the day he died. And to listen to him tell a vision for you as a bit of parting adviseโ€ฆ tears. โคโค
  • I saw this presentation live in August 2012 and have been sober ever since. Something clicked during the presentation and I finally got the message.

i was not anonymous in my 25 years drinking, and i dont hide today as i tell people im a recovering alcoholic, and one day at a time i celebrate 25 years sober on the 4th february. a miracle as i was months from dying. i heard the words at my first meeting, keep coming back, and stay away from the first drink. and get to many meetings as possible. and it was suggested to me and i had a good sponsor. and he will be 40 years sober on the 25th January it was the start of a life and a journey ive enjoyed in my years in AA, and i will keep coming as long as i am fit and able. thanks to all in AA my friends in Scotland, England and the meetings ive done in Brisbane, Boston and California, i am grateful for all the help and support over the years. and many years to come.
  • So powerful! In 17 years, I have heard and read this story many times. On this Memorial Day, the tears are of thanksgiving for the program and those who came before !!
