I felt HYPHY editing this episode! thanks for watching everyone :)

“Ran outta tracks, so the beats done!” This is the most appealing thing to me about a hardware workstation. Rather than hitting a CPU limit and everything gets bogged down and slow
  • @Jay_Maculate
"This halo 3 ass campaign ass beat" lmao. Sounds fire!
  • @bigmistqke
This beat has so much flavor. Great sound selection. When that choir preset came in 🤤

It’s hard to be creative when you’re burnt out. Can’t forget to refill the tank.

Love you man, you spit essential advice. The beginning is also my favorite part. Middle is ok. The last 10% is a grueling, sometimes life sapping process. Wish I could hire someone to take all my almost finished songs and fucking finish them.
  • @BotchedGod
fucking mind blowing beats per usual my goodness sir
  • I was trying to force myself to make a beat a day in addition to my main visual art job and that didn't work. Now do 1 a week and love it.

I've been creating music since I was 9 years old (1997). But didn't really get my own gear until I was 20 years old (2007). I think it's best for beginners to make as much music as they can at first, so they can learn their gear and WHAT NOT TO DO. Then when you get some years under your belt it will be ok to make less music, but still finish music you find to be your favorite creations. By then you'll be able to sit down and make something thats great with it taking less time getting in the zone mentally; whether you work alone or not. I too am down to about one song per week. I wish I could find more talented vocal artists who can say the same lol. But I've worked on numerous projects throughout the years and have no issue with going into overdrive and doing a whole album for someone in a month. And that includes post-production, arranging/editing and mixing. It's not the quantity, it's the quality.
  • I try to learn every day. I'm not too concerned with finishing songs.
