Come along with me, as I sift through the remains of a million dollar mansion, which burnt down in August of 2018. The owners gave me permission to search through all the rubble, with hopes of discovering their valuables that were left in the home during the terrible fire. The fire started from a lightning strike that hit the house. Fire began to spread quickly through out the attic, and blazed down through the other floors. Several attempts to reach out to 911 were made, but the cell towers were also down from the thunder storm. After 2 hours of burning, the fire department was finally contacted and arrived at the scene. This was a very tragic loss to the family. Thank you for watching and Have a Merry Christmas!

About Nugget Noggin:
Hey! I'm Michael, I love to get outdoors and discover awesome things
with my metal detector. I started treasure hunting when I was 12 years
old and shortly after received my first metal detector. Since then, I've
been hooked and just love going out to search for the unknown. You
may see me in the woods crawling under an old house or diving down
in the river to search for rings. Wherever the adventure brings us, I'll try
my best to keep you entertained.

Built in 1929. Very sad loss. Glad you could save a few things for the owner.
  • I'd like to see what the house looked like before. Sad that it burnt and they lost everything. Cool horse head!
  • UNBELIEVABLE HEARTACHE FOR THOSE FOLK..SO MUCH TO LOSE. INSURANCE CANT COVER PERSONAL THINGS, OR REPEAT THE SPLENDOR OF THE PLACE SO TERRIBLY SAD.
  • Such a sad thing when such a historical place is laid to ruin. It is a lesson in how things we feel are so important can be gone in a moment. I would love to see a photo of how It once looked.
  • It would be interesting to see a picture of the mansion before the fire, the land is so beautiful, hopefully they will rebuild. Great video...Merry Christmas!
  • Glad no one was injured in that fire. A shame to see such a house go along with its valuable personal things and mementos. I hope you can find some of their old coins and valuables for them.

My house burned about 5 years ago due to a bad electrical connection. It was bad, but not as bad as that house. We lost most of our possessions, be we we're lucky and able to salvage some sentimental items. The lesson for me was don't get too attached to your possessions.

I'll bet you have the proudest mom and dad on the Planet! Every parent would be Blessed to have a son like you!
  • Michael, be very careful in the remains of a home that old! Lead and arsenic were likely in the paint thus in all the ash. What a tragedy. Blessings!

My husband said you're the Bob Ross of metal detecting 🥰 it's that accent you got, a calm soothing voice but I don't think there's a thing in the world that can get you riled up, just happy all the time 🥰

I've been through two house fired in my life. It's insane how everything is scattered and destroyed on them. Of course the most important thing is everyone made it out safely. At least they will get a few material things back from the ash. Great video Nugget
  • I got a metal detector today and found some cool stuff thanks for inspiring me.

Kind of ironic, that the fire starter/lighter you found in the kitchen didn’t work. They suffered such a loss. I noticed a wine collection off the kitchen. God love and help them. And may He protect you. Wear a mask! The stuff you’re shoveling is kicking up toxic dust!!
  • So this is how you developed those biceps? Digging, digging, digging! Must have been fun living in that house with jets roaring past all day.

Would love to see pictures of this place before the fire. What a terrible loss. Thanks for the video.
