Tool is one of those bands where nobody is replaceable
-
Tool just wouldn't be the same without him. Some Tool songs ARE Justin in my opinion. As hard as it is for anyone to agree with me on that. This guy is insane.
-
He looks like an archeology professor.
-
Man, I could straight up just listen to each member of Tool playing entire songs individually. So much love for Justin.
-
Interesting fact: He's the youngest member of Tool...age wise.
-
"What is my purpose?" "You pass butter."

This dude is a badass. I was at a Tool concert in 2002 in Denver at the Pepsi Center, and during one of the songs, Justin's strap came off of his bass and he continued to play the entire song holding it up in mid air; he didn't miss a beat. Once the song ended he quickly put the strap back on, but wow. I watched him the entire song. Amazing. And the rest of the show was spot on. Best concert I've ever seen.
-
I was today years old when I learn Justin was British
-
Justin is an amazing bass player, one of my greatest influences to play bass, especially in the use of effects and rhythmics.
-
Justin’s the heartbeat of all Tool songs
-
I haven't heard this mentioned before, but Justin has massive fingers/hands. Really lets him go savage on the fretboard...that Warwick looks like a kid's guitar in his hands.
-
"Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona Bay.... And pass the goddamn butter"
-
and here I am fretting for my latte
-
Pass the goddamn butter!
-
Cold silence has a tendency to pass the goddamn butter
-
Slowed this down to 0.5x to get a feel for the technique. What I got instead was a really drunk Englishman on holiday in France.
-
Everyone: Justin uses a pick to play bass Justin: pick is just a tool.
-
This man is so underrated and awesome
-
Such a wonderful personality.
-
nothing like watching a legend play his own music.
