A Gibson guitar given by Elvis in 1975 sold for $334,000. This one would be even more valuable.

I could listen to him tell stories about Elvis all day. His love for Elvis brought me to tears. Thank you so much Spa Guy for sharing your love of Elvis by making these videos. I love hearing new stories about Elvis

Thank you for bringing us Sams words. As I have told you before, I saw Elvis in concert in Atlanta in 1977. People were angry for the bad performance, but I was sad. I could see a man on stage who was very sick. Of course most of us had never heard of the drug addiction, so I saw sickness. Here was a man trying to perform, who should have been in a hospital. Sam makes it even more clear. Maybe in that hour, I knew Elvis as the man, and not the singer. Thank you again Billy. You once again brought us a piece of the man.
  • Elvis was a very caring and given person. He wanted to be sure the fans had the best show. His family and friends seeing to them and giving them a life to remember. Thank you Sam for sharing with us. Thank you Spa guy.

You've conducted a lot of interviews, Spa Guy, but this one is undoubtedly my favorite! Sam is such a pleasant, genuine and likeable gentleman. Wonderful stories! Thank you Sam for sharing about your time with Elvis!

That was AMAZING! That man loved Elvis!! Not the entertainer but the man!!! That was so wonderful that he brought that out!! I know as a fan I forget that Elvis was a MAN. He had feelings, he had a heart and he wasn’t untouchable. I am so guilty of thinking that man he had everything and was everything and man he was perfect. But he wasn’t, and I have to be so careful and not put him up on a pedestal that I can’t take him down from. He was a great entertainer, but he was still just a man. Thank you, Mr. Thompson that was so wonderful!!!

Elvis would be delighted that guitar paid for law school. I wouldn’t doubt if giving that guitar away crossed his mind while he was playing it that night. And it didn’t take long. He did so in his first peaceful moment. Thanks for letting us sit in on these great stories. I wonder does Sam Thompson ever see or talk to Billy Smith and others?
  • Elvis made possible Mr. Thompson's ambitions come true, and that, Billy, is just one example of Presley's Christian upbringing.
  • Just you and Elvis driving through Tupelo chatting away together... What a story, what an exciting adventure.
  • Such a nice southern gentleman. Elvis touched a lot of lives and Sam was one of them along with his sister. Spa guy you get 10 gold 🌟. Thanks y'all keep um coming.
  • Love Sam. Just a first-class guy and so articulate. Love listening to his stories. Thank-you!
  • He comes across as an honest and humble gentleman. Thank you Spa Guy for taking the time to do this.
  • I’m just amazed at Elvis generosity, many blessings for the greatest performer of all time.

Well, I’m literally weeping. This was such an amazing interview. I’m very grateful to both of you, ( Sam..Billy) for making it possible for all of us to hear these amazing stories. Elvis fans are the most loyal dedicated bunch of people you will ever meet. We will forever be thankful for every cherished tidbit you can tell us. And we will also fight King Kong if he disrespects our Elvis. Elvis was my very first love and at 62 and 40 years after his death, I love him more than ever. Many thanks! Much appreciated! ♥️
