While i 100% expected Sydney to win n break the WR i did not expect Anna to go under 52 n finish in 2nd. I thought she would get bronze. Im so happy she chose this moment to have the best race of her career. Great job Sydney n Anna.

Sydney and Anna finished 1-2 in high school nationals (freshman to senior), college nationals (freshman), USA nationals, and now Olympics. We just a 1-2 finish at worlds to be compete.

Bol was running stride for stride with Sydney for the first half of the race, but when Sydney came around the turn she turned the after burners on and left everybody. And what a pleasant surprise Anna Cockrell getting silver was.
