South Texas is often overlooked for its historical significance. If you search for best towns to visit in in this area what is usually found are lists of towns in the Hill Country region. These two areas are distinct from one another geographically and culturally (Fredericksburg is not South Texas!). I present 3 small towns of historical significance that are representative of the region. One other very important historical town in this region is Goliad, but that town gets its own video.
