Although primarily associated with the interests of the United States of America, the team's objective was to safeguard global stability from both terrestrial and extraterrestrial threats. S.H.I.E.L.D. initially brought together the Avengers through the Avengers Initiative, prompted by Loki's invasion of Earth with his Chitauri army. This team, including Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, thwarted Loki's plans before dispersing temporarily.

    Hulk….smash. In all seriousness, I think the Marvel Cinematic Universe is probably the best thing Disney has ever came up with, considering they had ruined Star Wars, but that’s another story. I really think it’s interesting that all these movies they made are making more sense than the new Star Wars movies (but I digress). I think the most important timeline for me was watching Captain America through Avengers: Endgame. Those are the best, I feel.
