There is one important aspect missing.... you can not grow in wrong environment.... in my career in the past I tried to show proactivity by taking managerial responsibility but I was requested to not try to do anything beyond my designation... it takes a good leader to recognize and promote another leader...
  • Well said. Many won't agree but it is bitter truth. Only when we give confidence to management that we are ready for bigger level then only we get promotion to next level.
  • I personally think with only hardwork you can never get Growth. One need Sheer Luck to become Successful in Life.
  • You are amazing! I was able to crack a few interviews after following your tips in various videos! Thanks a ton and may you be blessed with all the happiness!
  • @codeaffection10
very helpful video. 100% correct words! motivation is not a one day activity. it has to come within on a daily basis!
  • Let me tell u one secret to grow in mnc's. Be a part of a lobby or if u naturally belong to that lobby it's a huge plus. Like in Delhi NCR here MNCs are ruled by Punjabi people like Bajaj, Chopra's, Kapoor etc. Most of these Punjabi people are actually from Lahore Pakistan and moved to india during partition and they normally live in Tilak nagar, Rajouri garden but over the period of time these people have captured whole NCR MNCs and they are in top positions and there team generally buildup of same set of lahoris Punjabi people or Indian Punjabi . So if ur Punjabi or Lahori Punjabi it's a huge plus for you otherwise act like Punjabi and join there group. This logic might look stupid but people in Delhi NCR know this thing. And once u become part of this group there is no stopping.
  • Alright. When people don't recognize it we feel it's ok. when people blame it it's just a blame game. It's ok. When we don't get the opportunity we feel it's ok. When you are working great doing good in current role no escalation its ok. No promotion no ratings its ok next time will see. Actually we have to fight for everything but too it's ok. Let's move on. You know your skills better than anyone. So please be focused and keep learning. No matter
  • Though this is a old video but i can say one thing based on my experience that if you really want grow to become VP SVP or CxO role (i am not talking about xyz manager role here which i dont think is an actual growth) you have to be a good seller that means get into sales role. All things ends here. Sales, Marketing and revenue generation. Don't expect any movement in your career by completing 100's of technical, domain, functional certifications. You may keep changing jobs but never be a VP or SVP in a top MNCs. This is applicable for service based companies as i dont have experience for product companies!
  • In a nut shell, it is NOT WHAT YOU, it is WHOM YOU KNOW - it is about the ingroup.
  • Sir you speak very relevant, sometimes you may sound harsh to some people but it’s completely true for everyone. Keep guiding.
  • @freebird4522
If the organization doesn't provide a clear path and conducive environment, how can everyone grow? Is that really possible for everyone to grow?
  • @VK-no5kj
You are absolutely Right. People ask for the role first. The people who take initiative, show leading, team driving skills will get out of turn promotions. Energy and self motivation are key.
  • @venuvenu2719
Thanks for the video. The more people are aware of this, the better Indian IT grows.
  • @ben-uy1ud
Very well summarised as always and to the point. You have covered all the points and am sure would be helpful for the guys to be well informed beforehand and accordingly work for their next career stage. 👍
  • Have you ever tried to calculate Compounded Annual Growth rate of your remuneration ? Compare the answer with respective year's inflation rate. Those who are happy with their growth may see some surprises.
  • Here one thing should be clear, what you want be in future.A skilled workforce or Team leader. If you are interested in team leadership, please check your capability. If you're satisfied then only go further otherwise be a good skilled workforce where no one can beat you for some years, because as time change You will be less useful for them.

Thankyou Sir for guidance. Please keep on making such informational video.
  • Loved yur channel, thanks for such a good content❤❤❤
  • Please make a video on work politics favouritism. Many people in industry had suffered or suffering because of this in their career. Unhealthy competition makes the work culture toxic which lead to emotional breakdown and attrition.
