I think its the best video out there on this job! I wish more "Experts" would focus on the job rather than their channel and add revenue. Thanks SOOO much :)
  • @generyde9173
Canadian plumber here. I must say this guy did this almost exactly as I would. Cleanout is a super idea, saves taking the whole thing apart when you someday have to clean the drain. This coming from someone who does both construction and service work. A+ job
  • @yakittyyeah7649
Wow, that is the best kitchen plumbing installation I have seen. I didn't even know cover plates were sold for plumbing. A very professional, and clean looking job. The video was excellent, good visuals, and great articulate audio. Thank You
  • @TheDelightDay
I would hire you if I have any plumbing issues. Your quality of work is a step more than the pro level.
  • @erikl10001
Thanks for actually explaining why some of the standard practices are standard. Understanding the reason behind things makes it easier to apply those principles to various scenarios. Perfect for plumbing since every situation is a little different.
  • @Sparlita
This is a really helpful video. Thank you. What would make this video even better would be a quick layout and overview of all the components required for the job (maybe even including tools). I'd love to see each of the elements in one shot to hear the names for each part.
  • @BKingamer
I'm a pro, have my own plumbing business. Yeah this guy did it perfectly, wouldn't have done any better myself.
  • You are my new best friend. I've been fighting my non draining sink all week until I came upon your video. Fixed mistakes in about a hour, GREAT instruction. Thank you!!!
  • I'm in Tennessee, working on an old house. I'm not worried so much about the freezing issue as I am about the weird way the house was built. Running a vent through the wall would be almost impossible without an exorbitant amount of work. The air admittance valve is definitely going to be the easiest way to go for me. Thank you for the excellent demonstration!
  • Very good video. I personally make my drains with main emphasis on creating space, since that's the most common issue under the sink(bathroom too). I always make them from pipe and fittings, instead the short pieces that comes bagged, and with time tend to loose and leak, damaging the furniture.
  • @lcbv
Congratulations on the installation. Although pipe patterns are different in my country, the working concept shown in your video will serve as an inspiration for my next works. Simple and efficient operation and maintenance!!!
  • I have watched many videos on youtube, and this is the best one for it's simplicity in showing how and why the plumbing for sinks are done a certain way.. Well done.

From South Florida (Broward) and mostly all of our drains for the kitchen comes from out the walls, even for our island drains. Thanks for explaining that the reason why the drain is coming from the ground is for freezing purposes because I was scratching my head on that one. Clean work & great video.
  • Both my tailpieces rusted through (40yo) and i was about to call the plumber before i found your clear and precise video. I watched this one and the other one a few times, did a home depot run and a few hours later i was all done. Thanks so much for putting this together and being concise, more than saving a couple bucks, i learned how to do a bit of pipes fitting and played with abs cement. Cheers bud!
  • @johnburt9455
Perfectly produced and clearly described as you went. This was exactly what I needed to replace old corroded waste pipe on my double sink. I hadn't thought of the cheater valve or cleanouts- added those to the setup for just a couple of extra bucks. Trying to do this in the middle of pandemic, and ordering parts online I had found myself stuck not knowing what "that junction thingy" would be called on an online inventory, so your description of each part really helped.
  • @shannond2707
Great videoโ€”thank you :) My 54 year old house has a crazy DIY disaster under the sink and it's leaking. I might tackle the repair this weekend... I'm 100% certain it will take me several hours to dry fit all the right pieces together, haha. You made it look easy, but I'm sure there's more to it :)
  • This video was absolutely brilliant!!!! Although the pipes in this video are a bit differently set up than mine, the end result is incredible and will definitely work exceptionally well for my kitchen sink. Thank you for the video!!
  • Clear, thurough, highly informative. No BS. Extremely well made and very much appreciated.
  • @hp2402
Thank you so much for the informative, fun to watch tutorial with all of the logic you explained behind the best practices!! Will be following your lead in tomorrowโ€™s sink drain install up here in chilly central Washington where my drain pipe is coming straight up through the floor!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
