Isn't it uncanny that he sees it as a fun thing, a playful thing — really just like humans do? Fizzy drinks might be an everyday thing now, but they originated as party drinks, really. I mean, he could have been disturbed or suspicious, cautious, I guess. But also, he trusts you. He knows that you know it’s ”special” rather than medicinal or dangerous! He picks up on your own playfulness.
