I love this series because they had it in like a modern kind of fleabag way with her talking to the camera which made it fun but then had the historians relaying the facts and the story as well. It’s like Six but with a more of the Tudor styling. Also love that the actor who plays Henry is an actual redhead! Because he’s always portrayed with brown hair! And that kinda pisses me off when they do that. Also the actress portrayed Anne really well! Anne Boleyn was just ahead of her time and too modern for Tudor men at that time. I bet they were scared of her because she voiced her opinions. Even though I know she gets beheaded as it’s in History I was still begging Henry to stop the execution. I love this edit as well because she was a powerful Queen just as her daughter was.

When I started watching this show, I thought, Oh my goodness what is this? But by the third episode, I was obsessed. For a romance that's been told so many times, I surprisingly enjoyed this urbanized update. Also this casting of Henry and Anne ended up being among my favorites.
