We already know Elon Musk is hard at work planning the first mission to Mars, the red planet, and closest habitable neighbor for Earth to successfully visit. But going to Mars is no walk in the park and the astronauts chosen for this special mission will be some of the brightest and highly trained individuals on the planet. In today's epic video we're going to show you why space travel to Mars is not for you! You just won't stand a chance, watch our new video to find out why!

In short, our bodies are highly specialized for earthly conditions and going into space is a highly off-label use of them.

"why we wouldn't survive a trip to mars" Because sleep is for the weak and we're weak

It should also be mentioned that 25 of the 49 probes sent to Mars never got there. They either crashed into the planet, missed the planet altogether, ending up in an unretrievable solar orbit, or something happened in mid-flight (such as a collision with debris). Space is hazardous, and I don’t expect any crewed flight to Mars in the foreseeable future. The next step should be a return to the Moon. It’s three days away, and it’s much less risky to test the long term effects of microgravity. Most Apollo astronauts found it much easier to work in the 1/6th gravity of the lunar surface than the free-fall gravity of orbit or travel through space. And in building a permanent station in the South Polar region of the Moon, the crew could be shielded from Solar radiation. The craters there which have the water don’t ever see the Sun. And in an emergency, Earth is always three days away. For now, we have unmanned probes which are doing an excellent job of exploring Mars (and the rest of the Solar System).
  • The backyardigans after staying on the mars for over a day: pathetic

"Why you wouldn't survive a mission to Mars" "Would you survive a mission to Mars? No one knows" Make up your mind

Elon needs to see this video for a hard reality check. I'm sure he knows all this, just needs to keep pumping the hype for Mars, otherwise SpaceX doesn't have much of a reason for existing beyond a bus to the ISS.

It’s crazy how perfect earth had to be for us to survive here
