CLARIFICATIONS:
- Technically it was George S. Trimble who started the RIAS. Witten's supervisor was someone named Welcome Bender. I had this in the original script but it was becoming extortionately bloated with various names, and since Trimble was the CEO of Glenn Martin, I decided to phrase it the way I did in the script.

You're not only a exceptional producer and host, you're also a talented marketer. Exhausting work, yet, "no grit, no pearl," as the saying goes. And, you're delivering some mighty fine precious gems mister!
  • @NoBodY202four
Much respect to you Curt for all your hard work digging into this. And Eric for showing us what’s behind the curtain on this subject. I find your and Eric’s conversations into everything the most interesting, educational and entertaining across the entire YT platform! Keep doing what your doing you represent the best of what this platform has to offer!!!
  • @glenn-younger
Whether you have a conversation with someone or share background to a story like you did here, I'm still a fan. In general, I love seeing how things were in the past on any given subject, which helps me understand how we got to where we are today. Your enthusiasm is so contagious, my vote is add this kind of material in the mix based on ANYTHING that makes you curious. In my ideal world as a Kurt J fan, I'd say 80% interviews and 20% this format. Well done and thank you!
  • @BoRisMc
Half way thru but I gotta stop and publicly reflect on how good this content is. Really nice one Curt, you’re knocking it out of the park with season 3 🐐. Cheers!
  • @wnp22
Would very much love to see an overview of Alexander Grothendieck - his technical work, life and social attitudes and eventual reclusiveness from academics.
  • @Biersoful
The story is so fascinating and this video is so well made! I'm continuously amazed by this channel, never been happier to be a patreon of someone for real
  • @_Nibi
Curt, I think a great idea for a video would be explaining how the equations are rewritten at the graduate level from undergraduate level. More specifically, in undergraduate, we really never touched much on tensor calculus, or integrals of sums, etc that you may find in graduate EM. It would be nice to show the motivation behind the more rigorous mathematics and how to read/interpret the graduate level equations that represent the same vector calculus based equations in undergrad.
  • How have I never found this channel before??? It goes into such comprehensive detail about such cool stuff. I'm gonna binge this lol
  • @valkhem
Congratulations, this is a fascinating work of the highest quality. The Witten interview is priceless; I mean, I've always wondered where the interest in UFOs came from at Lockeed-Martin and why is mentioned in many books about that subject. You just nailed; discovering the connection between anti-gravity research tink tanks, the development and shaping of modern theoretical physics by the most famous and renown scientific minds, and how all this was funded and fostered by private initiatives. In a few years, when the government involvement in the UAP/UFO phenomena finally blows up, this piece of work will be reference material to put the pieces togheter. Seriously, the kind and quality of the material you're producing it's on a whole different level compared to the corporate media stuff in the mainstream that we've consume for decades. It's obvious that you seek knowledge and understanding (based on scientific ground) for you and your audience; you're able to translate incredible complex scientific concepts into something the average curious minds like myself can grasp (a little bit). Keep up doing such an extraordinary and crucial work. Also, your guests are always awesome.
  • @fuzielectron5172
Gkad you posted the short, never got round to watching this back on original release. 🙏❤️
  • @KalebPeters99
Holy moly Curt this was fantastic! Full of stories I've never heard told on physics youtube before, let alone with such technical detail and production quality. Thank you 🙏 I'm excited for any of the listed topics but that 'whole lagrangian explained' is a video I've wished existed for years and I know you would do it justice
  • @gtcable2
Fantastic documentary. You really treat the subject in a reverent but inspiring way. Good on you, sir.
  • @bruceshort6631
Curt! Well done, we definitely need more of this type of video from you. i do love your podcast, but this was a great new format with so much information condensed into a perfectly digestible snippet.
  • @matiashr
I missed this earlier, but found it with the help of one of your short videos, its brilliant Curt!
  • @billbrasky7885
So glad you tackled this Curt! Ever since Eric Weinstein started talking about this my curiosity has been beyond peaked and I can't find enough about this subject.
  • Congratulations. If your not already this video puts you 100 percent on a C.I.A watch list. This should have came out along time ago the suppression of this part of physics has greatly reduced the potential if mankind.
