Experimental Mustang II landing at Lake Hood, Anchorage, Alaska

Published 2024-03-14
Landing my experimental Mustang II at the Lake Hood Seaplane Base 2,200' gravel strip in Anchorage, Alaska at 9:52 PM on June 28, 2022. Sunset was at 11:40 pm! The gravel strip identifier is PALH - which it shares with the seaplane base. It used to have its own identifier of "Z41" in case you want to see it in some older flight simulators. Video was taken by my wife Linda. It's too bad the windshield wasn't clean, especially landing into the sun. More information about this plane is at experimentalairplane dot com.
