Thank you so much for making videos about biomedical engineering! I'm a sophomore majoring in biomedical engineering currently having a crisis about career searching 😅 it can be so difficult to find answers and personal experience in this field!
  • Your positive and calm energy is incredible!!!! Especially given such a demanding career

  • I just adore your videos. They are relaxing and entertaining. Plus, your voice is very calming. Because you're real and transparent, which is rare, it makes your vlogs that more appealing. Looking forward to your next video.
  • Seeing a lot of comments about how they just stumbled upon these videos and I have to say as a current engineering student this video as well as ur “day in the life of a biomedical engineer” was really relieving to see field work in engineering as opposed to just office settings. Thank you for the insight!!!
  • I just found your channel and I love it. I'm in 10th grade and thinking about what I want to do. My options were all across the board and this gave me insight to one of the ideas I had

Dang, I came into BME wanting to do the prosthetics. But then I was interested into stem cell engineering and now am pursuing that field. Cardiac regeneration specifically.
  • You are a beutiful soul MashaAllah, I can see it through your eyes ! Thank you for sharing your story. I am currently studying to be a Biomedical engineer, and your story gave me extra booth to pursue my goal đŸ€—

Kudos to your videos! I like your vlogs. I'm also a biomedica engineer by training and working at a hospital right now as a postdoc. Go BMEs!

Interesting that you've been exposed to research (and even potential spin-off stuff!). Yeah, I can imagine it's not for everyone. I also spend long days in the lab sometimes, but it really goes in waves, and it's so dependent on which lab you end up in as the techniques and core research can vary a lot of course. And yeah, I guess this is the general paradox for every starter out of school, not just biomed engineering though, that they ask for some experience... but how can you if you're just out of school right? So I advise my viewers to take in as much lab experience and placements as they can to highlights this (perhaps already on a LinkedIN profile for example)... Thanks for sharing your experiences!
  • Greetings. I'm one of your subscribers! Thanks so much for sharing this with us! I'm a Hospitalist PA in Washington, D.C. I greatly appreciate what you guys do!😊 I have SO many patients with artificial valves, pace makers, stents, etc. You guys are life savers! My son is pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
  • Hey could you perhaps do a video on what your role is through this pandemic that we have right now.. Are biomedical engineers also responsible for creating vaccines and testing them out? I love your channel its been so hard to find videos where we actually get to see the daily you know routine to the job.. Its really helpful ❀
