Having been caught in 3 tornadoes I can tell you that in all reality no place is safe during a tornado

It always saddens me when I see trees destroyed like that. Being tall and majestic doesn't seem to be good for them because storms come along and rip them out of the ground. It really is too bad. All of that beauty disappears in an instant.

We had 2 trees down in my back yard in Coal City. It's a miracle there was no property damage

As the climate is changing, the storms are getting worse, and even Metropolitan areas are being more impacted by big storms and tornadoes.
