I like how at the end she thinks she's dancing with her boyfriend, but she's actually dancing with the cop and he's like "excuse me, i said put your hands behind your head, not around my shoulders"

Sara: *slowly falls slowly insane* Sara's dad: that's allot of damage... HOW 'BOUT A LITTLE MORE
  • Imagine this: Your name is Marianna. You're a senior in highschool and you're going to prom. You are having a good time until the most popular girl in school, Sara Berry, turns your insides into outsides and makes chili with them.

I know it isn't, but this feels like a cautionary tale about not pressuring children and teens to the point where their stress beats their rationality.

And yet ironically, she had the perfect chance to boost her popularity, by leading the charge to promote Julie as Prom Queen. She was so close to leaving High School with a perfect popularity end, but let greed and a psychotic dad trip her up at the finish line.

This feels like Pacifica Northwest finally snapped
  • Regina George: IM THE BEST MEAN GIRL. Veronica: No, IM THE BEST MEAN GIRL. ???: Amateurs. Regina and Veronica: What was that, punk? Sara: AMATEURS.
  • I sympathize with Quiara (5th girl dead) a heck ton because: A) You drew her expression so great, she looked horrified. B) I can't swim, either.
  • At first the blood warning left me worried that she was going to start chopping off bits of herself for sympathy; this is perversely less horrifying.
  • Instead of “Julie had a hold on the lead” it should have been “Julie had leg up for queen”
  • Lol imagine being Julie in this scenario. First you lose your leg in a car accident. Then before you become prom queen you see the popular chick go on a murder spree so you have to call the police. The icing on the cake watching said chick dance with a cop with a bloody knife in her hand.

Can we just stop and think about the fact that Sara's BOYFRIEND took julie to prom
  • I've listened to this song so many times and this is the first time I heard the guy say, "What a bitch." I honestly can't right now.

I'm amazed this song went the route of it being Sara's father who drove her to insanity. You'd think, because the song is about a girl obsessed with being prom queen, that it is her mother abusing her, maybe because she didn't win prom queen when she was a teenager and she is pushing her daughter to be the perfect prom queen to live vicariously, or she was prom queen and refuses to see her daughter not follow in her footsteps. But no, her DAD is the one who makes Sara believe that if she isn't prom queen then she's worthless. It makes me think Sara's dad was a high school star quarterback who married the prom queen and still carried those fucked up high school hierarchy beliefs into adulthood, then verbally beat them into his daughter's head. It's an interesting approach to take.
  • @cryptidram
Sara's dad: *Torments his daughter saying that she needs to be prom queen and basically calls her worthless* Sara: *Gets obsessed and goes insane, killing tons of people and getting arrested* Sara's dad: *Surprised pikachu meme*

Julie lost her leg in a wreck, causing the students to make her queen (out of support, i suppose), which caused sara to go insane and kill people. BUT, as it was a car wreck that caused julie to lose her leg and get voted queen, im blaming Henry Ford for all this
  • @senddeath6901
Those are some really creative ways of killing people
  • @brendaluv2017
I really like the plot of the story, a popular girl going off the rails for popularity, it's got the creepypasta theme to it
  • @capnwalrus7277
A blood warning for smashing a mirror? Is that all you've go- oh. ok then
