Cultural Caravan TV presents a tribute to legendary jazz pianist, composer, and music historian, Randy Weston. Randy's career spanned over seven decades and five continents. He had a lifelong career of collaborating with great artists such as Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, Max Roach, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, and Langston Hughes, to name a few. The tribute will include a discussion about his book,The Autobiography of Randy Weston- African Rhythms. Please join us in commemoration of the life and legacy of this phenomenal artist educator and recent ancestor, Randy Weston.
