Seems that the “Dwarf and the Giant” mission was the idea for the circus freaks mission in RDR2.

17:58 Rob Wiethoff himself said that Bonnie McFarlane had another voice actress but for some reason after doing all the cutscenes they changed it to the one we hear and that the only time he saw the final actress was in Undead Nightmare

actually quite a lot of the stuff in red dead redemption that was cut has been used in red dead redemption 2, there is a side mision where you help a giant find a dwarf.

Some of the original HUD concepts for Red Dead Redemption look hugely dated. The final design is far superior and has definitely helped make the game stand the test of time.

Does anyone else just love this guy's voice? He has such lovely cadence and rhythm. If he hasn't already, he should try and get into radio or other voiceover work.

I've been looking for this video because it shows what inspired the entire Red Dead franchise! These are all must watch movies 2:57 blind man 7:09 10:56 Once upon a time in the West 7:23 High Plains Drifter 7:32 the "dollar" trilogy 11:05 The Wild Bunch, with the whole gang theme that resonates heavy in RDR2

The fourth encounter from the Dwarf and the Giant really reminds me of the novel Of Mice and Men. I think that may be what inspired the side quest.
