As of when I filmed it, ICWG's site in Castle Rock was their newest ground-up site in Colorado. It features a S-curve property layout with a beautiful 150' tunnel packed full of MacNeil equipment. Similarly to all other Car Wash Express locations in Colorado, this site uses Kanor (AutoGlym) chemicals imported from England. After visiting this site, I can say Car Wash Express is heading in a great direction for their future ground-up sites.

  • I run a car wash and use Macneil equipment. It's cool to have an open tunnel look because the brushes retract. You can never get that with mitters. Also the top brush is next level when it comes to cleaning a vehicle. I worked at a wash that had two sets of mitters and cars were always still dirty. With my top brush they never are. Sure less than 1% of my customers get a retract for whatever reason. That is why the loader has a bucket of soap and a brush. For trucks or cars getting a retract they just scrub the hood. Also agree with the right chemistry and a high pressure arch the car will be clean. This wash has twice the brushes I can assure it's putting out a wonderful clean car!
  • I love MacNeil brushes. Not the wraps or rockers, I’m specifically talking about the foam. I love how they use foam instead of cloth, because after a few muddy cars cloth turns into sandpaper.

At my car wash you have to really keep your eyes on the attendants before they run it thru. I've seen it with my own eyes, customers that don't, the attendants usually just push the button and send it without vacuuming really good, wiping the windows etc.

I don’t get why MacNeil tunnels first off only have top brushes and second usually only have few despite the length of the tunnel, the cleaning of the hood front windshield roof back windshield and trunk area really important to get clean, and not the easiest places to clean, with all the bird poop tree sap, also only having top brushes eliminates a whole set of cars and vehicles that you can no longer wash having mitter curtains you can wash any type car even with a roof rack and still get it clean, you need a mix of both in my opinion.

I thought when the long pause occurred at around the 1:15 mark, the dodge quit cause it got wet and it was going to need a tow.

if you can go to Michigan someday can you please film all of the locations of quality car wash and west shore car wash and triple play car wash?
  • This is actually called “Car Wash USA Express” not “Car Wash Express” I think you missed the “USA” in the name. I’ve filmed one of the locations in Mineola, Texas.
