“I am blessed with two daughters” hits sooo different because back then if you didn’t have a son you would be ridculed sometimes because women were seen only to be there for being a wife and sometimes fathers wouldn’t always claim how many daughters they had, especially if they did not have any sons. He loving claimed his daughters though, this movie will make me cry:,)

In the original legend, Mulan has a little brother, but he's only around 12 years old at oldest, much too young to join that army. So she ends up protecting both her father and her brother.

I too am "Blessed With Two Daughters." As a father of two strong willed women, Mulan is an emotional story for me.

I see some Asian "style" action scenes and I am all IN. I do not care if is not like the disney animated movie, this movie will bring some fresh air to live action movies for Disney, because they are trying to emulate the asian cinematography, which is BEAUTIFUL and very understimated, sometimes.
