Now we need a build with the "Not Worth Buying" and "Delete" kits only lol

I will always be annoyed by the Country Kitchen Kit, because the idea of kits was to "add items that just didn't belong in a bigger pack", and yet the Country Kitchen Kit came out just weeks before the trailer for Cottage Living. It so much feels like the took the set of assets that they chose not to put in the expansion, and polished it enough to put out as a kit. Had the CL expansion been known about, I doubt many people would have bought the kit, but at the time it was an aesthetic that we just didn't really have. It almost immediately put the lie to kits being items that wouldn't fit in a bigger pack, and for me, that lie is what has soured my attitude to kits, far more than anything else.

Ironically, the Industrial Loft Kit is actually my favourite build/buy kit, I love the industrial style so muchh

The everyday clutter kit gets so much use in my builds, but I definitely feel it should have been a base game update really! The Pastel Pop kit was such a surprise hit for me though, it's in every teen/kid room I make!
  • I will forever complain, though, at how easily the outdoor projector TV in Little Campers breaks just as easily in the rain as any other TV...

I love the plant kits, clutter kits, and the basement kit because they help me make my houses look actually lived in, as opposed to like, staged for resale, you know? So much of the furniture in the sims is so neat and clean and sharp lines and these kits help me break that up

I totally agree about the kit bundles, I wish that was an option. I’d totally get 3 for $10, but I really can’t justify $5 each. Or even adding a kit option to the bundle where you can get 1 expansion, 1 game pack, and 1 stuff pack. Toss a kit in there for another $2 and I’d probably get one the next time I splurge on DLC.

I personally LOVE the "Decor to the Max" kit I just wish people would understand that maximalism isn't just vibrant colors. You can have a completely neutral space/style and still be very "busy". Textures, patterns, layering etc. can be very maximalist depending on how it's styled. I wishes they focused more on those aspects.

I love decor to the max kit. I use it all the time, mostly because I love maximalist decor and eclectic style overall. Once I’ve built an entire house with elements from this kit, including wallpapers, rug, couch and all decor.

as a builder, I would like to see a ranking video like this that’s build specific for all packs!!
  • @Idkwhyimhere456
Industrial loft is one of my favourites, especially the plants
  • @svnnxhpxige6313
I LOVE watching these because it shows how different we play. I always always use the industrial kit, the blooming rooms, and decor to the max ALL the time. but for simsie she would delete them 😂
  • @rebecca99994
The walls and tiles from Courtyard Oasis get overlooked a lot, I reckon - I use those all the time and they're some of my favourites in the game (and never use the windows and such for the same reasons as in the video).
  • @mwahha6965
Basement clutter is my fav kit, as someone who doesn’t own supernatural packs it has rundown things that aren’t in anything other than supernatural packs , cracks and stains etc it’s a game changer. The plant kit is sooo cute 🥰
  • @alixx8624
definitely agree abt the cottage living/country kitchen similarities. I used country kitchen in nearly every build until I got cottage living, now I usually use a combo of the two lol.
  • Absolutely love the Book Nook kit but I wish it had proper corner varients as well, I hate the look of when I have to cheat it
  • I'm SO surprised she put the basement kit in Not Worth Buying, considering how excited she was about it before and how much she really uses it
  • @ashefrazier6980
The reason the little campers kit is tagged as outdoor activities, is because they tagged the expansions and game packs as well.
  • @Marie-id9do
The industrial kit is my all time fave! 😂 I guess I just like making my sims live in grungy industrial metal apartments 🤪
  • I don't love kits but I don't hate them. It's to EA's advantage to encourage players to buy every kit, but I actually like how niche they are. Some of the kits simsie dislikes are ones I use all the time, like blooming rooms and the loft kit. You really can pick and choose what you like, and most of the build kits in particular are a lot higher quality than a lot of the early stuff packs, despite lacking gameplay. They're still a worse deal content wise but if the items are higher quality and more desirable, they're gonna be more useful to players anyways. I hope they keep the quality up and don't make another bathroom clutter kit. That being said, I prefer any kit to the Sims 3 store. The Sims 4 is definitely scamming with these packs but sometimes I feel like we've forgotten just how bad it can be 😂😭
