The hurricane, which has regained strength in the past hours, has sparked warnings of life-threatening winds and dangerous storm surges.
A hurricane warning is also in effect in Barbados, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Tobago.

Worried for friends and their families in the Grenadine Islands: Carriacou Island, Petit Martinique, Union Island, Mayreau and Bequia could have all been hit very hard.

There are very heavy damages, so many homes and roofs are damaged on the island of Carrricou and Grenada. We are praying.

So this video went up, I'm assuming a few hours after going live. But Beryl had already made landfall by then. Wow, between mispronounciation of the island's name and the timing of the mention i think you need to do better BBC! 😒
