That piece of timber redefines the term, "gnarly"! The finished job looks incredible!:cat-orange-whistling:

Wow! So happy there wasn’t any resin. Just the beauty of the wood and the skill of the artist

That has to be one of the most unusual turns I have ever seen, the wood is amazingly craggy and, I love that you worked with the voided areas, and left them as part of the finished work. I have said this before, but I have no idea how you see what you are doing brother. Just watching you made my eyes go buggy. Beautiful brother, beautiful.
  • The grain in that wood is exquisitely beautiful!! Such an amazing piece! Awesome job sir.
  • I have no idea how that didn't just shatter into a thousand fragments. Incredible work, and a gorgeous end result.

This one is really cool!! No epoxy. Just the beauty of the wood.
  • I was holding my breath almost the whole time...afraid it would shatter apart. But your expertise kept it together. It’s so lovely!
  • This is amazing Jack. Wonderful work. I’m very glad you let the wood speak for itself.

Absolutely stunning - I was nervous for you in the hollowing process - thinking just one catch would’ve blown it apart but I gotta say you gracefully did it - beautiful results and very stunning piece of art - super great job Jack

Absolutely love the finished piece. I love it when the grooves , ridges and grained are retained where possible as all those dark bits also are what makes wood art beautiful. I would buy that piece if was for sale as my kind of piece. Really beautiful.😊❤
