Astro a40 mixamp record all in game audio/chat Elgato HD60

For the output device don’t change it to “tv or amplifier” leave it on Astro it sounds allot better and works perfectly fine other then that good video!

On the HD60 pro I didn't have the analogue option but it worked PERFECTLY on the HDMI option for me. THANK YOU! NOTE IF ANY OF YOU ARE HEARING A LITTLE BIT OF STATIC ON YOUR RECORDING, GO TO SETTINGS AND LOWER THE QUALITY OF YOUR RECORDING ACCORDING TO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU! Quality for me is in between "Better" and "Best". DO EXACTLY WHAT HE DOES AND YOU WILL BE FINE 😁

I just picked up one of these babies today at Best Buy and have everything hooked up. However I am trying to record using my Elgato HD60 S. 1. I have the El gato hooked up “like normal” where I can see it on my tv and my Mac. I have the A40 mix amp set to console mode for my Xbox One. 2. I don’t really want music or anything so I don’t want to use the Aux cable. 3. Did your video explain that I do need a male to male audio thing so I can capture the game audio as well as live commentary? Please and thank you for all your help. I really want to record my live audio as I play my game. Thank you kindly.
