To recap: We treated this concrete slab home for termites. All you need to complete this treatment is a 5 gal bucket, termiticide chemical, water, shovel, and gloves. First, measure the outside perimeter of the structure. This will tell you how much chemical you need to buy. You will need to purchase about .32 fl oz of chemical per 1 linear foot. Second, dig a trench along the outside perimeter of your home, deep enough so the chemical doesn’t run out. Third, mix the chemical with water as according to the label. Always follow label instructions. Fourth, apply the mixture to the soil and let is soak in. Then that’s about it, just clean up and rinse the pesticide container before you throw it away.
Comment any questions you have below!
I recommend using the chemicals Taurus SC or Termidor SC. Both chemicals will give you at least 10 years of termite protection (if done correctly). You should be able to find them to purchase on line.

I’m so glad to see that you’re finally using PPE! Watching this broke my heart no joke! This is also one method for treating hemlock trees from the wooly adelgid. ❤️💪🏼😎👍🏼❤️

Great job on explaining the process thoroughly!

working on the job. this must be easy hats for you to keep home owners safe from pests

My builders did the same crap you mention at 13:40 . Just putting in bait stations. They actually wanted $560.00 for their annual renewal. What a rip off. They obviously know its better to treat the home. But they want to make money on an annual contract. I treated my home myself once the building inspection was done and told them to get lost.

Just finished watching your video! Super informative! I didnt see you put the dirt back into the trench that you dug out. Should you pour more Taurus SC with water on top of the dirt when you refill the trench?
-
Hi Dan…nice video! Do you also recommend Navigator SC? Thanks

Hey man love your videos can I ask a silly question What it go under my home snd spray the floorboard for underneath extra protection yes or no ? Will be useful lol

What do you recommend for treatment of a slab foundation where this a concrete slab next to the exterior wall? Taurus label says to drill concrete every 12 inches. Most videos i see on youtube have professionals using slab injectors to pump the solution under the slab. Are we just supposed to pour into the holes as DIYer?

With this product do you just go around the main part of the house or do you do the driveway, carport and walkways?
-
So if you don't need to treat the backfill, then is it ok to dig the top soil for gardening above the treatment? They always say not to disturb the soil against the house.

Great video! Very informative

Hi Dan, love your videos, very helpful and helps me to save lots of money! Much appreciated! Is there any way to do preventative termite treatment that isn’t a bait station nor requires any trenching around the home?
