A big part of the Key Bridge cleanup has now been completed. On Monday, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers held a controlled demolition of a section of the Key Bridge that was on top of the Dali ship. The crew onboard the Dali were below deck and took safety protocols before the blast.

Incredible! Great job to all of the engineers, techs, & trade workers on getting all of this done. 👍
  • Western Marylander here! Thanks to all who are working to clear that channel! Excellent job everyone!⚓️⛵️⚓️
  • Really appreciate the high skill, coordination and safety precautions demonstrated by the US Army and Coast Guard Also appreciate the inputs and 24 your back breaking industry by all the participants in the salvage project, the Baltimore Port authorities and the superb guidance and support extended by the Governor and his team.
  • We were fishing in Dundalk and it was very loud! We chose to fish there because I do feel like this was an important step towards returning to normal and I wanted my kids to be able to hear it and be able to have that experience. I'm happy to see progress and hope the port is opened soon with no additional injuries.

Who ever figured up all the cuts and placement of the explosive charges really knew their job

"We are not going to do some kind of Hollywood movie spectacular out of respect to the people who passed away in the incident " Every news provider immediately splashes footage all over social media...

Already !? Why hasn’t there been News that the Last Victims were Recovered !?

Why didn't tugboats escort the cargo ships out past the bridge supports? Preventing possible accidents such as this one.
  • It took a lot of maths and planning to steer the vessel into the bridge in too , the first place, Hey America!
  • What's so "remarkable?" We just watched the first phase of the controlled demolition last month, performed basically the same way; except for no mention of the Silent Chemical Demolition Agents (SCDAs) used on the 1st and 3rd (from right) monolithic concrete and steel support structures.

The Port Maintenance should have repaired the Ship to begin with they should be held Responsible for the Ship Crashing into the Bridge but they Put it all on the Ships owner which is Ridiculous.

The explosions were a complete failure! they did not put enough charges at the base to separate the truss from the road surface and concrete blocks, They just stayed on the bow.
  • Accountability, but wont admit the truth of who hacked the barge and took out the bridge... You have to acknowledge the truth or nothing will ever come from it❤
