Top of Louisisana - Driskill Mountain Summit

Published 2022-07-02
This was the 8th and final highpoint of our Southeastern roadtrip. Olivia, Caden, and I had all done this one before but we hit it again to let Ethan mark off his 9th state highpoint. Its an easy stroll through shaded woods in northern Louisiana. At 535', Driskill Mountain is the 48th highest US state highpoint.

We all had a great time on this roadtrip. I can't wait to do more state highpoints in the future!

I’m glad you do travels like these with your family. Lasting memories for your children. Dad took us all over the US and Canada each summer when I was growing up. Camping and RVing in many of our National Forests and National Parks. I fee blessed with many lifetime memories.
