2:34 Matt's intro. 14:06 Dr. Darrel's intro. 33:55 Joe (he/him) - Atheist | Caller wants to share his deconvertion story and wants to ask some clarifying questions about RFR. [Much love to a fellow Catholic survivor lol <3] 41:31 William (they/them) - Atheist | [TW: discussions on depression and self-harm] Caller wants to talk about how they are dealing with the death of their father. [Much love to Caller <3] 53:16 RFR updates. 58:36 Matthew (he/him) - Atheist | Caller can't let go of some of his old harmful Christian beliefs, after deconverting, and wants some advice. 1:14:40 Rem (they/them) - Theist | Caller is a theistic buddhist and he wants to defend the notion that a god potentially exists. 1:30:17 Jalen (he/him) - Atheist | "How much do we separate their [Christian's] beliefs from them as an individual?" 1:51:01 John (he/him) - Theist | Caller asks "was it in fact the hypocrisy of the religion and the man that caused you to then turn on [the Christian] god, or did it all occur at the same time?" And then he says that he had "a feeling" from this god that made him believe. 2:11:26 Jasmine (she/her) - Theist | Caller claims that "religions are literally false, but metaphorically true and can be advantageous." 2:20:14 V (she/her) - Atheist | Caller wants to talk about being comfortable with the unknown and how to talk about this with her mom. 2:27:27 Announcements. 2:31:29 Jacob (he/him) - Atheist | Caller wants some advice on how to avoid falling into a negative loop, being angry and thinking theists and such are "all stupid, I'm better than them, etc." especially when you feel strongly about something. 2:50:07 Clarissa (she/her) - Atheist | Caller's father has retired from the ministry and since then, he has had a lot of mental health problems, as he refuses to get proper health help with that, so she wants to know how she can help him.

Firstly, Matt, I love that beard on you. Really suits. Secondly, it's great to see Dr Ray once more, a real treat.
  • @Moriningland
Matthew is an atheist and yet he loves his family more unconditionally than his family loves him in spite of the idea that they’re serving an unconditionally loving god
  • @thedanemantrain
On the last caller. 2 atheists sitting and speaking with someone who is genuinely concerned about the health of their father. He's a minister. The stereotype would be that they would focus all on religion and how his deconversion would be whats best. Instead, these two guys listen, offer advice, show patience, and show a genuine care for the caller and her father, despite their religious differences. Absolutely tears apart all of the religious caricatures of atheists. Well done gentlemen! What a beautiful showing of the kindness that flows behind their morals and actions! Loved it!
  • They told me "fake it till you make it" in AA, and let me tell you, I did not make it. At least not with a God concept.
  • @thorvsdarwin
I donated but it came up as anonymous. Much love to all at the line and RFR.
  • John from WA I think was the most intelligible and honest theist caller I think has ever been on the show. Hope he calls back in the future
  • @CCpro83
The God Virus is by far the best book I’ve read on this subject
  • @ewg6200
I love the way atheist shows force Christians (and adherents of other specific religions) to generalise by declaring themselves as theists, and in doing so, to acknowledge that their particular beliefs, dogmas, and tenets are not absolute or unique, but simply one version of many candidate versions of potential truth. Implicit in this, the elephant in the room, is the unspoken reality that they cannot all be right, but they could all be wrong.
  • @mikearg3529
I attended your last debate at the church in Tampa and it did appear to be an athiest dominant crowd. Thanks again for coming all the way down here to do what you do.
  • @Battleress2
MORE GUEST APPEARANCES BY PAUL!! 👏👏🐍🐍
  • Hey Dr. Darrell, have you ever thought about doing a speaking tour kinda thing? I would love to hear you talk in person!
  • William has an impressive ability to look at the bright side. How many people would look at that find of an appointment by their deceased loved as a positive thing. Most would use it as another thing to cry and mourn about, "if only they had gone, they could have gotten the help they needed to change their lifestyle in order to live a longer healthier life." Instead he recognized the method he used as an effective way to maybe share and help others get to those who need help before it is too late. Bravo, William, your attitude on this singular point, at least, is honorable.
  • @jeuandavidjones
I'm one of those folk who have an instant recoil (terror?!) seeing a snake, but seeing Matt handle this one and talk so confidently is somehow calming & reassuring - don't ask me why!
  • @saicharand7765
John, is sadly yet another example of someone sacrificing their reason at the altar of religion...
  • Buddy had a Carpet Python ages ago and could never get it handleable. I had a Brazilian Rainbow Boa at the time, and he was super chill.
