Senegalese people we are so kind. We really love vietnamese people because we know that they are hard workers, respectful and good persons.
  • @hihai_TV
Mr Duong Nem is fascinating. A man was dropped in a strange land and not only did he survive but he adapted and is now thriving. Such a wonderful human being.
  • @senegalaise2251
Thank you for going to my home town Dakar Senegal. I know Duong He sells nems at layene for years. He is very nice. He lives in Yoff
  • @nguenarn
As a Senegalese... I love this so much. We will welcome anyone and everyone with welcome arms and I believe it should be like that everywhere!

What he's missing is the love and laughter that only family can provide. I was living in South Korea for a few years and tho I was making money and the country is beautiful, I was very different from the people there both physically and culturally. Just like him I had friends and people to joke and laugh with but at the same time I was extremely sad in the inside. I got so depressed that I eventually had to move back home. At first I regretted it because I was saving so much money while there. But now that I'm back with my family everyday I'm the happiest I've ever been.
  • "When I let my daughter drink milk, I also give the grave next to her some milk." His kindness showed the true essence of humankind. He's a good man, without a doubt.

He's definitely depressed. His heart is in Vietnam. He needs to go home to feel happy, but he's worked so hard to reach his lifestyle in Senegal and knows he will start from the bottom back in Vietnam. He fears struggling financially again and does not want to give up the success he's currently achieved and worked so hard for. Money Vs Family.

"As people, we need to be good and live thinking about others." What a wonderful attitude this man has. I wish him all the best in my motherland.

The stuff you find at 3 o’clock in the morning when you can’t sleep. This was awesome!!!!

Hầu hết mọi người ko để ý chứ để làm ra 1 video chất lượng như vầy phải đầu tư rất nhiều công sức. Vậy nên a xứng đáng nhận đc 1 lời cảm ơn😄. A big thanks to you👍🏼👏🏼
  • Being a Vietnamese man, I honestly wish him to enjoy himself for the rest of his life... I sympathize when seeing his watery eyes...
  • @huyenduong323
I burst into tears when seeing this. I feel proud of being Vietnamese. Every person on earth deserves love.
  • As a Filipino, I definitely relate to Duong's story. Aside from fertilized duck embryos, another thing Filipinos and Vietnamese have in common is RESILIENCE. I hope Duong would find happiness in Senegal.
  • "Everyone loves money." "I have money, but I don't have happiness." Damn man.... Those are some strong words.
  • @triggabun
Couple of things. 1. This video has layers to it. Very deep. You have to watch it a few times to grasp all that is here. 2. The man is suffering from trauma. That is why he feels so empty despite finally having material things. He hates his job because he primitively knows he needs space to process but the work hours do not allow him the luxury. He would be just as unhappy in Vietnam. 3. When he says he was happy making less, that is due to being in survival mode. When you are happy just to eat and have shelter your problems are simplified and your brain will not waste energy on emotional well being but the physical. 4. Props to this man. He has heart but there is always a price to pay for bravery.
  • "You have to get used to a country and then it's livable." Those are profound words. I'm impressed by his resilience, adaptive flexibility and courage. His experience is an example of adversity building character.
  • @kottevandebroek
God bless him, what an amazing story! And thank you Kyle for making this video, it's so inspiring to all of us.
  • @untonyto
ACtually he's a philosopher who sells spring rolls in his spare time
  • @PowerMangoLP
He can't go home because he got too used to the struggle there. I hope he can find happiness either in Senegal or by going back home some day. Bless this man
