I appreciate that Nicki allowed Tasha to claim the name of Jesus in this song and her album. Tasha was not playing. She made it clear what God she was talking about. Clear and straight to the point with no shame. It was my dream to have one Christian song with Nicki. And the fact that we actually got one just blew me away. Tasha has really been planting a seed in Nicki. I’m so thankful to see they still have a friendship. I know Tasha is praying and interceding for Nicki daily. I pray Nicki encounters God and reflects him more in her music. It was so powerful. Thank you Tasha for being bold to be that beam of light in dark places. I was not expecting a song like this.
