Correction: Bulletin 22C12 from June 28th indicated ALL Broncos from 8th of December to 12th of April as well as Ford Ranger from December 17th to April 12th will have a delivery Ban due to windshield adherence. The result is that the windshield may become unattached during an accident or cause WIND NOISE or a WATER LEAK. Solution should be provided by July 5th.

  • I wish Ford could post some statistics on orders and production, by model. How many of a certain type ordered and how many built so far. Surely they have that information, so why not share it with us?

    Booyah, 👊😁👍🇺🇲🇨🇦🇲🇽 Thanks Johnny

Thought I'd add to the Maverick subject. I ordered an XLT with 4k tow and Lux packages back on October 27th 2021. Order was created and accepted the same day. No changes made since the order was placed and is still coming with the spray-in bedliner according to the VIN tracking. It's scheduled to be built the week of Aug. 8th. If the week sticks and doesn't get moved around as Ford has been doing, I expect to see it sometime late October or even November due to the shortage of delivery drivers. The delay dosen't bother me at all as I'm in no rush for it. Just glad I don't have to go through the hassle of converting the order to a MY23.
  • @OrlandoOBX
I’m ordering a OBX 2DR LUX with added soft top when the MY23 order banks open. Have reservation since 7/20. Dealer told me this week that the SAS package is a major delay now because china isn’t sending anything out, hard top also. Said I could be waiting up to a year. He said people who ordered last October and November still haven’t got a build date.
  • Thanks Johnny. Just checked Bronco6G. There is notice of the Bronco Ban for windshields. It shows up on your VIN in the Recall LIst. They have a link in the Forum topic. Production dates like between Dec 21 - April 6th, 2022.
  • @timcournay968
Johnny it’s for ALL Broncos built from mid Dec to mid April. My 4 door Outer Banks is “built “ finally but still at MAP after 5 months and IS on the recall list.
  • I was told earlier this year from the dealer that my order wasn't selected for production so I thought I would have to wait for a 2023. Got an email from Ford yesterday that my Bronco is scheduled for production on August 8th. Still don't have my hopes up on getting it anytime soon.
  • @SDunsmore444
4DR Broncos are affected by the windshield sealant recall also. I have a 2022 4DR Badlands that I took delivery of on March 23rd 2022 and I received a notification on my Ford Pass app about the recall
  • @str-lrd3863
Mine is a 4 door and is part of the windshield recall, so I don’t think it’s limited to just 2 door models. Recall states that dealer needs to remove and reseal windshield with proper epoxy and cure times. What really sucks is mine is a ice mountain January build, is finally done, and is supposed to be at dealer July 5. Looks like I’ll be waiting even longer.
  • Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦 I totally agree with you on taking the constraining items off your orders that can be added by the dealer or after market. But if you want things you can only get in the Luxury package for example, like Marie’s Maverick, you better be content in waiting a long time. My order, a Maverick hybrid XLT lux most likely will show up on the 2023 model.
  • For me personally, I'm going through a High Delivery / High Allocation dealer here in NorCal. Last year I reserved a 4 Dr. Soft Top 2.3L Outer Banks High Pkg. 4-Auto with Rear Locker in Aug. '21. It was built for quick delivery & it was ordered 9-4-2021. It was delivered in exactly 4 months. However, I'm still waiting for a Build date from that same dealer for my '22 Hard Top High Pkg. Wildtrak, it was ordered in March '22 and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Dec. / Jan. 2023 arrival. I just removed the Hoop Steps and Roof Rack b/c I heard those options were causing severe delays. So we'll see... Bottom line, it comes down to Options / Allocations, but you can work around those issues if you are willing to do so.
  • @grenjith
Putting contract is a lame idea. In a free market there is no place for that. If someone has money, he can buy and hold the vehicles for more than 6 months. When I buy the vehicle, it is mine and I don’t want any one telling me what to do.
  • @DesertMav
I spoke with my Salesman this week about my Maverick order and said that they have been getting build dates for the month before my order. My hopes are to either get my 2022 build date sometime this month or maybe get in line for a 2023.
  • I'm sure those people who have waited 18 months+ for their Bronco will notice that shipping ban right away. NOT.
  • @TugHillGuy
There's a recall on Broncos between December 8, 2021 and April 12, 2022 according to Ford Authority, Bronco Nation, Bronco 6G, and Consumer Reports because the windshield may separate from the vehicle in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.. They didn't specify 2-door; they just said Broncos. There's also a recall on Rangers from December 17, 2021 through April 12, 2022 for the same problem.
  • @TNbubba1
A Maverick built the end of May has a VIN of 70XXX and mine will have 84XXX VIN, they have averaged 2xxx built per week this year, there was a shutdown week in June and 2 weeks scheduled down in July, therefore calculates to match by last stated build week of 8/15 week. In a few days we will have the June production published so now we need a VIN of a late June produced Maverick to recalculate estimated actual build week, Thought you would enjoy this analysis. Marie's built in SEPTEMBER!
  • @nan0akaun0
01/22 order date , talk to my dealership said im in a group of 64 and the first 12 people om the list are out to build, I ordered a obx 4 Dr SAS lux hopefully something soon
  • @greglane3978
My Bronco (4 door black diamond) was built on September 30. Checked and modules popped. Still waiting on delivery on November 15. Any Idea why Ford cannot seem to get it shipped?
