Level designers: *create an intricate level with many paths and routes to sneak around* prenatual: *chad-rolls down the middle of the road*
  • They don't see me rolling, they waiting, patrolling and trying to catch but no so likely.

After so much rolling and being under the sun shirtless, Snake began to change skin, realizing that he had actually become half-snake.

Just imagine how hot that cement would be...

People actually used stealth in this mission? I absolutely decimated the XOF fools.
  • You know that when a video begins with a guy rolling with a water pistol, that he really means business....

I love how nobody sees a human tumbleweed casually rolling by

Daytime, no camo, and okb zero is the most guarded area of the map. "You're pretty good"

imagine a whole battalion of rolling soldiers on the battlefield.

Man, seeing this highlights how much better this mission is, in my opinion, at night. Just feels so atmospheric for this point in the game.
  • PW: “If the times demand it, we’ll be revolutionaries, criminals, terrorists…” MGSV: rolling around exposed lines of fire

There is a very convenient route going along the left side of OKB Zero, where you can climb the walls and avoid most enemies by taking the high ground. I wanted to try something less obvious and more exciting. As a reminder: Snake is invisible beyond the 20 meter range during the day while crawling or rolling. He can also lay low to reduce that range to 10 meters. So the whole strategy is basically watching the distance indicators above enemies' heads and crawling past them when they look away. Not that hard, really. I'd say this mission is not even in top 10 of the most difficult missions of this playthrough. EDIT: There is some weird bug here, where one of the soldiers calls the CP to complain about his missing vehicle (0:52). I think it is the Walker Gear soldier near the last gate (7:08), because in the video he faces right, instead of facing straight, like he normally does. It didn't change much, though. Normally you can avoid him by crawling around him on the right side, but in the video I had to crawl on the left. I have no idea what causes the bug. I didn't fulton or destroy any vehicles or Walker Gears on previous playthroughs of this mission. Restarting, waiting a few days or changing the area didn't fix it.
  • "Why is there some shirtless dude rolling sideways up the hill?" "Ah no worry fam, just keep looking straight ahead."

I'm struggling with detection in MGSV. Even if I'm motionless, prone, and wearing the appropriate camouflage, snipers can see me in the day. On the other hand, I've been prone in "stealth mode" at night and soldiers have walked right past me, almost to the point where they might have tripped over Snake's bootlaces.
  • That day Snake really wished he was wearing a shirt, with all that rolling.
