Can't wait to see what you create! (and as you probably guessed, that's Blender 4.2 not 2.4 lol I don't know how to talk.)

I admit it's been awhile since i've been playing around with Blender and learning new things. Your tutorials are great for that kinda thing and i for one am grateful though i may not say it enough. So let me be the first to comment with an 'Official Thank You' for all the time you put into these.
  • I will be the first critical voice in the comment section. It seems on the render that this tornado is not quite spinning. Not much dynamic range, but great that you're back on Youtube!

high quality results, high chances of laptop dying

Nice result! I would only recommend, instead of having people to remember how the names of the attributes need to be, use the Volume Info node. It provides outputs for those attributes and more. The other thing is, when talking about the Max Bounces, your Transparent bounces are at 8. I would highly recommend using a much higher value like 32 or even better 64, it does not really increase the render time very much but it avoids getting black artifacts in the smoke. I don't see them in your example, but it can happen especially when you increase the smoke resolution. I've seen smoke tutorials with people claiming this to be Blender's fault by unfortunately having a buggy Adaptive Domain behaviour, but it's actually the fault of people always lowering bounce values for gaining render speed.

very very cool tutorial! I would love to see a tutorial how to make big curling waves ( for example if you want to make a cool surf scenes)
