We have to talk about the fact that Luis Suarez is literally the only striker in history to win a European Golden Boot while Messi and Ronaldo were in their prime😭😭
  • @Kaijufied
4 goals, 3 yellows and a red in a month is the most Suarez thing I’ve ever heard
  • @welcome2football
The greatest striker of our generation👊 He either had defenders in his pocket or stuck between his teeth😂😭
  • @californiaballer
Suarez was a force of nature. Arguably the best striker of his generation, ahead of Ibra and Lewandowski, but saddled with one scandal after another. His bite of Chiellini in Wourld Cup was particularly nasty and undeserved and costed Uruguay everything.

Whole Ghana will never forget Suarez, thats a great achievement

Sofia may have one assist but its the greatest one ever. Imagine how close we were on missing out on a player like Suarez

As a liverpool fan, he's by far my favourite player of all time. 13/14 season is arguably the best individual performance of any player ever in the premiership. He's does not get the love he deserves
  • As a Barça fan, I really love this guy. The way Koeman treated him is outrageous. But i would say paring out with Messi was also a reason he became more chill and stopped bitting people. Forever a Barça legend
  • Suarez is the greatest striker of our generation, proved himself in multiple Leagues across Europe, came to the premier League and took it by storm, got the best out of sturidge and sterling, single handedly carried a mediocre Liverpool side close to EPL victory.

His final season in Liverpool is legendary
  • whenever someone came up with the fact that suarez won the golden shoe in 2016 above messi and ronaldo, both sides would easily turn on him and say that he had help from messi and ronaldo-- and yet they forgot that he won the golden shoe in 2014 as well, without the help of either

I don't think this will be a question in the whole of Africa 😶😅

No body can't match his individuality leadership quality one man force that Uruguay team won't look so deadly without him not only national side where ever he played he was so deep

Watching Suarez live was like watching magic on display. He scored some of the most beautiful goals ever and competed with Leo and Ronaldo when no one else dared. El Pistolero will forever be my favorite striker!

As a Uruguayan fan I'll never forget two of his performances for the National Team. 1 ) - The first one was a 4-0 victory against Chile which came on the 11th of November 2011 (11-11-11) when he trashed Chile at Centenario. The last time a player had scored 4 goals during a qualifying game was Careca against Venezuela back in 1990 which at the time was like Cristiano Ronaldo scoring 4 goals past Lithuania or Andorra with Portugal in recent years. That night Suarez scored 4 goals against a Chile which was on up, but the way he did it was amazing (all of them were against the same post but with different parts of his body) 1st goal a long shot with his left foot towards the bottom right corner, 2nd goal was a bounce on his shoulder/neck against the same post but on the top corner, 3rd goal was a header towards the same post halfway from the ground, 4th goal was another long shot against the bottom right corner once again but with his right foot. Suarez left the field not too long after that with a standing ovation not only from the Uruguayans but from the Chileans that were at Centenario that night. And never once again has any other player scored four goals during a qualifying game, Messi did score three times past Ecuador in 2017 but nobody else has scored four that I'm aware of. 2) - It was against Mexico on our first game since the World Cup we lost against France after Cavani got injured. That night against Mexico Uruguay scored early on from a corner and Mexico replied a couple of minutes later from a PK. Then Suarez show began: 1st Suarez scored a free kick against the goalpost bypassing the shortest of five defenders with the precise amount of power to bend immediately after that and bouncing on the ground before keeper could reach it so it passed above him, next he dribble past defenders and one of them pushed him earning a penalty so the 2nd goal was his own penalty kick but it wasn't a regular PK as he instead pretended that he was going to go full power but decided to do a cheeky chip above the keeper by chipping the ball like Zidanne did in 2006 and Abreu did in 2010, and finally when the whole of Mexico's defense was in a state of baffled stupor he crossed the line once more but the ball came a little too far from him to chose so he decided to assist a team with a freaking RABONA and Mexico was 4-1 down, by which point the coach decided to take Suarez off before the keeper suffered incurable nightmares against his defense for the rest of his life.
  • @Astrotzka
Mf got ran over by a car and got shot , yet somehow he is one of the greatest foorball playees of all time.
  • Suarez at Liverpool with Sturridge was magical. Even with the controversy and biting incidents he's always been top. Probably one of the greatest out and out strikers I've seen in my lifetime
  • @RenCoser23
Suarez is my fav players of all time as a Barcelona and Manchester United fan this guy is a beast❤
  • @YeTism
Only man to win the European golden boot in the Messi/Ronaldo era of dominance. I think there’s a legit argument for him winning the ballon d’or in 2016

He is currently playing for Brazilian club Grêmio. Perhaps it was the biggest signing in Grêmio's history, the fans loved him and he was scoring a lot of goals. Until the middle of the year now, when Messi went to Inter Miami, and he started trying to force a free exit to play with Messi in Miami. Everything is resolved for now, he agreed with the board of Grêmio to advance the end of the contract, which would be at the end of 2024, for the end of 2023 and he will play until the end of this season. But the magic he had for us Gremio fans is over. He raised the level of our club that came from relegation last year, we won a lot of partners and a lot of money, but the fans were very sad with his attitude.
