Really enjoyed the video! My number one tip is to read the online manual. In Logic you have a world class piece of highly developed software and you are denying yourself of it's (and therefore your own) potential if you are bluffing your way through on a few YouTube videos. The manual is online, free, broken up into bite size pieces, searchable, cross-indexed and up to date.

16:07 you can improve the sound by changing the pitch method to polyphonic by using Flex Pitch !
  • @cjoth
@9:52 when you said you can't undo volume, you actually can.. Just press Command+Option+Z to open Undo History, and enable "Mixer" in "Include Parameters Changes From: Mixer | Plug - In", and now wallah, Cmd+Z undos the volume! because "Volume" is integrated in the "Mixer". I enabled both the "Mixer" and "Plug-In" for extra convenience :) sorry if someone already mentioned it, but I'm too lazy to read the comments.

Hey Nathan, I've been working in Logic for 20 years - back to Emagic! But I still learned from this video. Amazing how one doesn't know what one doesn't know:) Many thanks.

  • I'm coming back to Logic after a long hiatus (Logic 8) and this has been a fantastic look into things I should have known and also tips for the newer version - very thankful to be stumbling upon your channel and will definitely be checking out more periodically once I get the hang of some of these more fluently 🙏

  • Just got logic prox this was one of the best quick learn vids I've seen, and I've seen a ton. Keep them coming!
  • Dude ! That was phenomenal. Specially the 'latch mode' for automation and reverse/pitch change'.. Excellent demonstration.
  • I have been using Logic since it was owned by eMagic. It continues to get better and better, bigger and bigger. Thanks for your help in researching the details and putting them out there. I always learn something, and it is good to have a refresher on the things I do (or did) know, as well as new features.
