  • I can truly say this place has helped me with sobriety and being out of the shelter for 4 years and my daughter is happy as well ❤z
  • I was at Haven for 10 months. The courtyard is for dopers and alcoholics who just need a place to sleep, shower and eat. The Transformation Campus is for those who are ready to get back in.the mainstream of life (jobs, college, getting a home or apartment,). If you're an addict who had given up, Haven won't be of much help. But if you're fed up with being down and out and are willing to apply yourself, Haven will provide generous assistance every step of the way. Life is what you make it, there's no such thing as a totally free ride.

ive stayed in the courtyard before and its absolutely horrible. also there is no way on earth that they have reduced the homeless population downtown by %80 because there are HUNDREDS of people that sleep at the courtyard at night and those people are still homeless. sleeping outside on the ground is not a home

What they DON'T tell you is that in Haven For Hope, you start in PCY, then work your way to the area where they have kennels for dogs, a big cafeteria, dorm like rooms, family dorms, then men and women are on separate ends of the "housing" portion of HFH... Unless ur a family... You do chores daily and you work in their clothes/food bank area for starters... Ik because i lived there once
  • Yea that place sucks big time they sugar coat every thing ,but really there's alot of bad people and haters there :real tAlk.. No joke be careful

I use stay at the haven for hope off and on for the passed decades
  • What about the Warehouse when you have a bad person running this. When all the equipment for street to feet donations go for Fung Raining

Ive been there before and its anything but a haven or hope. Some people even called it craving for dope. It soo bad that cops even walked around pointing flash lights at everyone. I only lasted 20 minutes and i bounced!!

We need this in every city ….and city over Idk maybe 100,000 population We already have tons of programs in every city. Whether it’s church programs government private they are all spending all this money but only help you with the one issue they deal with. It takes for ever that way. would be so much better for the community and the homeless if they all come together either donate their money or work together as a team You wouldn’t have multiple places providing the same services with some services that are greatly needed not available
  • I would have to strongly disagree I was there in 2020 and was abused by also's which is part of Haven for Hope staff I was left homeless then I was encouraged to go back this year I didn't even last a week they said my equipment was a fire hazard my equipment wasn't even a 2 years old and that just happened when people don't realize is yes we do need a place to stay we do need help but at the same time we don't need mental or physical abuse or emotional emotional and physical is the worst thing you could ever do to a person I wouldn't recommend that to nobody animals get treated better than the humans do until this day I'm still homeless ain't nothing been done
