Building TINY WARM HOUSE with FISH POND in my Backyard | In 100 DAYS

Published 2023-12-17
In this new video, I build a small warm house on the edge of a heavenly pond.

Thanks to the brand @oasefrance who sent me a monstrous filtration system for the good balance of the pond and the health of the fish.

Find all the material I use in the video on the Oase brand website: www.oase.com/

This is, quite possibly, the most relaxing 45 minute video I’ve seen in a long time

LUV the no talking, straight to business. It really is zen-like.
  • I’m not physically able to build a pond but definitely enjoy watching people build them. This is the best pond build video I’ve seen so far. Love the design!

This is beyond beautiful video! Master piece
  • absolutely beautiful! I don't want to be a Debbie downer... but... it did not appear that you used a double or triple wall stove pipe thru the roof, also the barrel type wood stove is thin metal and the wood you have stacked right up against it will ignite, there is also the fact that you have the wood stove way to close to the wood siding without a piece of cement fiber board on each side with a 3 inch gap on bottom and 3 inche gap from the wall for an air exchange to keep the wood walls cool. maybe you will never use the wood stove again and it was just for show. but if you do plan on using it, it won't be for long because you will burn the little house down. this is not a maybe it is a definite, it will burn.

It looks fantastic! Well done. I do have one suggestion, but only if you want this structure to last. move the grass clumps about three feet away from the wood, and cut back the foliage to at least two feet from the back of the tiny house. Keep a two-foot barrier between the greenery and the wood, and just have it filled with gravel. Reduces insects (if you want to maintain the interior) and weathering on the wood. :)

I gotta say I love the no talking and trying to be funny, this was great to watch this guy is no joke!! Also putting the stones and pebbles around the pond was so great and the message it sends that every rock from huge stone to small pebble has its place. It had good meaning for me personally about us people in life. No matter how small or big you think you are you belong somewhere and help make the bigger picture beautiful. We're all needed 😊

I wish I lived in the woods with a dad to teach me this kind of stuff. I'm 15, no dad, and grew up in the city, but I hope to eventually get good at wilderness survival and things like that.

This is truly the "my wife wouldn't let me do the first thing I proposed so this was the compromise" of Cyprien project 😂 Great build & video as always
