John was not only cool but also classy. I remember a year or so after 9/11 he flew around to many of the fire stations across the country to personally thank them for going to NYC to assist the fire departments there. He didn't promote himself during these trips, just wanted to share his appreciation for helping out the city he grew up in.

He used to go to the Reno Air Races. One year he flew his 707 there and did a low pass for us to see it. That was cool.

Come on, a lot of us dressed as Captains thanks to Pan Am getting us to look like Ships Captains.😊 We even had Pilots dressed as Captains that shouldn't have worn First Officers uniforms!

Loved this video and your sense of humor. My wife's sister knows John's brother Joey. Joey is a cool guy also and took our niece trick or treating one year.....but I digress.
