This is the theory ARMY came up with after reading the HYYH notes... These are the fears of each member: Jin- The truth Yoongi - Losing his music (i think?) J-hope - Abandonment (He was abandoned at a carnival by his mother who had told him to count to 10 with his eyes closed) RM - Being lost in life (I’m not sure actually) (There was a girl in his bus that he liked and he just wanted to give her a hair tie but didn’t know how to) Jimin - Being caught in a lie (he experienced a trauma in his life and was having seizures but he lied that he could not remember anything just to be able to leave the hospital) Tae hyung - Being like his abusive father (He had hit his father with a wine bottle when he saw his father abusing his sister, then called Namjoon with his phone — explains the phone room) The flower Jin protected is actually a Smeraldo flower, which represented ‘a truth that cannot be told’. He closed the curtains on Jungkook to prevent Jungkook from seeing his room and his fears. In fact, Jungkook was not only watching his members go through their struggles, but he was experiencing them too. In the acting and choreography, Jungkook actually mirrors the actions of some of the other members, showing this theory. When Jungkook finished going through all of his members’ personas, he realises the importance of staying true to yourself (depicted by the sand that he picks up and the shadow of the flowers flying away). He realises that the truth cannot be contained any longer. It will eventually be uncovered. They have to face their fears in order to mature. When the items turned to sand, it means that the truth had been unveiled. Jungkook then proceeds to reveal everyone’s secrets/fears after living through them. Which causes the members’ rooms to fill with the evil they had been trying to keep out all this while. Jin - the explosion Yoongi - Fire exploding J-hope - Snickers flooding his room ( his mom had left him a snicker bar when he was abandoned) RM - A fake reflection of himself Jimin - Water flooding Tae hyung - Phones flickering with words (Save me/I’m fine) Jungkook then uncovers the secret passage to Jin’s room, which had exploded. There were 6 coat hangers and a hooded figure. The figure symbolises the world’s evils and the coat hangers represent the other members, who have been exposed to evil. Jungkook has now been exposed to the evil world and surpassed it by going through each of his members’ personas. The LYSY era was the convey the message of finding and loving yourself. Jungkook ends up back in the room where Jin was in the beginning, maturing to find the answer and is ready to find real love. BTW, there are theory videos about all the music videos, so you can watch/react to them if you’d like. actually, to make it make sense, there's a story that bighit made called bts universe. it's a story about jin in a constant loop trying to save his friends, one by one. jimin tries to drown himself because his parents trapped him inside a hospital on purpose, jhope was also inside a hospital with narcolepsy and he was abandoned in a carnival by his mother when he was a kid, yoongi was kind of depressed and burned the motel he was living in to die, jungkook was ran over by a car caused by jin, taehyung is in jail cause he murdered his abusive father, namjoon is in a detention center.

If you are reading this Jordan The snickers were their bcoz in the BTS universe(self created story line) jhope's mother left him in the amusement park and gave him a chocolate. She said to close his eyes and she left. Thus the Snickers represent his bad memories. All the other components are other member's bad memories too

V’s relationship with the phone is related to the Bangtan Universe storyline. In his backstory, he killed his father. After doing so, he tried to use his phone to call RM, however he didn’t pick up. He ended up getting arrested, that’s why his “fear” is phones.

Jk isn't accepting his evil side. He's just accepting everyone and their faults and that's just a mask and a cloak there. In the extended version there's a scene in the end where he wears the same mask and cloak and goes to where everyone is and is ready to be with them cz he really, truly loved them, and not fake-loved them.

There is a bangtan bomb that shows the behind the scenes of this video. All the effects for the most part are real. The room Jin was in did actually explode on him, Jungkook did run with the floor falling from under him. Jimin was standing in the room with the water and Suga was in the room with the fires, on a smaller scale but yeah. Thank you so much for your break down and interpretation of this video.
