Kurt was right when he said people would misread sliver as silver
  • -Aero Zeppelin = Aerosmith + Led Zeppelin inspired song -Big Long Now apparently is about alien abduction, and it’s called like that because Kurt couldn’t came up with a name so Chad Channing just said "call it big long (the song) now (the we are playin right now) lol

"Shoot the shit" is an American colloquial expression meaning "to talk"

Showing people who only like “smells like teen spirit” “hairspray queen” and see in their reactions when you say that’s the same band is hilarious

8:42 he did not, he in fact was very feminist in his nature, he had two girlfriends, and one wife, that is all.
  • most underated album of the most rated band of the 90's, fucking awesome album, raw, punk, poetic.
  • @Sevonarola
it was Steve Albini who passed away, not Jack Endino

"Aneurysm" along with "Drain You" and "Lounge Act" (and possibly others) were written about Kurt's ex-girlfriend Tobi Vail from the band Bikini Kill. Supposedly, the vomited right after meeting her because he was nervous, hence, "Love you so much, it makes me sick." The line "Come on over and do the twist" was a reference to sex. The line "Come on over and shoot the shit" could be a double entendre, but I'm the same generation as Kurt and "shoot the shit" was and still is used in many parts of the US as slang for talking/hanging out. It has been historically used interchangeably with "shooting the breeze."

33:58 they only had one bassist in the band which was Krist, im not entirely sure if there were some other very temporary recruits at times but by any stuff you can find after the fecal matter demos it's always Krist.

By the way, the Blew EP is a seperate "mini album" (EP= Extended Play)There are two EPs, Blew and Hormoaning. Hope this helps

Turn around is a cover originally by Devo by the way.
  • I second that Unplugged comment. Take in Nirvana acoustically with some of their songs and some covers. Classic performance.

Stain was in fact recorded "in a fucking garage" funnily enough
  • waiting these painful minutes before he uploads You Know You're Right aseasd
  • “You Know You’re Right” should be next. It’s the last song Nirvana recorded and it wasn’t released until 2002 so it’s not on an album. There is a music video for it on YouTube.
