Caleb may be similar in ways to Mahomes but the one thing missing in Chicago that is in KC is Andy Reid. Andy Reid and his offensive mind is what floats that boat.

The most glaring need on the Giants is a dynamic WR...OK, but the most glaring needs on the Chargers are WR & CB. AND Hortiz is a huge BPA disciple. If the Chargers stick & pick, it's a WR.

These teams are insane for drafting these QB's so high...especially Mccarthy...you're better off building a team first. Do you really think Purdy would have thrived with a team like the Bears, Colts, Jets, etc.? He walked in to a great roster with SF. Look no further then every QB in the 2021 draft. Only Lawrence is with his original team and he's not exactly tearing it up.

I certainly wouldn’t hate Alt at 5 but not over the top WRs. We are currently paying Trey Pipkins like 10 million a year way too expensive to be a swing tackle or backup and remember Joe Hortiz is picking. NOT Harbaugh and Hortiz has said it’s BPA so that may be Alt to them but I’d rather get Odunze if not nabers

JJ McCarthy reminds me of Rick Mirer who Seattle drafter way back when. He had one decent year then went flat and got traded within 3 seasons. A bust. The problem was he was a decent game manager for Notre Dame but wasn’t asked to do much passing. He got to the NFL and didn’t have the skills in the passing game.

As a Vikings fan, I want them to draft Penix and a top DL player with their two first round picks. However, I don’t think they will bc I don’t think KOC is willing to adjust his offense for a left handed QB. He wasn’t very willing to adjust for Dobbs…as he tried to make him Kirk

I see the Chargers going Latham over Alt. They seemed to have liked him more during his visit. Says a lot if the HC and GM go with him over Alt.

No way Chargers taking a LT in Alt and convert him to RT. Not an easy transition and not a safe pick Simms. I say they take best available player in Hortiz.
