Man what a trainwreck of a story for Sonic. The story is almost nothing but an awkward romance between Sonic and Elise when it should've just been Sonic helping Elise be a more emotional person and as a friend. The events that get to these points are 5 mario game plots, treks through levels that serve as a waste of time, nonsensical events that happen just because, and time travel. Sonic doesn't give a shit on what's happening in the story at all; He doesn't wonder who Silver is, or who Mephiles is and his goals, or what Rouge and Shadow are doing in the future. All he cares about is Elise. In fact, this story basically tells you to play the other two characters if you want to know what's going on, too bad the other two characters play worse than Sonic!
