The fact that it’s the most anticipated game of all time and nobody will shut up about it means that rockstar doesn’t necessarily need to spend a lot of money on marketing when they got the best in free marketing.
-
If GTA 6 gonna cost over a billion dollars, imagine their return profit will be once this game comes out in 2025
-
“GTA is offensive and thats why people love it” That phrase is just PURÉ gold and perfectly explains the saga. And to whoever is still offended by it: youre far more immature than those you criticize for playing this series.
-
I won’t be surprised if it makes 3 billion dollars in less than 24 hours. 😂

GTA has always been the South Park of video games. It'll be popular as long as they don't cave in.
-
GTA is a cultural icon…every time one comes out it changes the landscape of gaming, I still remember when GTA3 came out it blew our minds
-
I played GTA 3 so much that I once started seeing the HUD in my windshield while driving down the road in real life. That's when I knew I should take a break.
-
GTA was inspired by accident. It was originally just a top down racing game, but the police AI bugged out and became so aggressive and caused so much carnage ramming them it got their creative juices going and they spread it out in to the full game it became.
-
Didn't expect the infographics to make this.
-
GTA is kinda like a landmark for gaming advancements. The current GTA game usually serves as the highest point a game can be at that time.
-
It's still crazy watching that trailer, I never thought we'd get GTA 6

My favorite of all the GTAs is GTA San Andreas because of the vastly different and interesting environments (desert, mountains, beaches, coastal cliffs, forests, farmland, small towns, 3 different major cities and a good sampling of different neighborhoods in those cities with totally different people just like in reality) and all the aircraft boats and motorcycles and the next to final mission with the fighter jet and the boats in that Northern bay-and all the missions and story lines had a great plot and were funny. That game was the best!

Played every iteration of this game when it first came out. Can't wait for 6

I hope the bulk of the budget goes to the staff, those guys deserve all the money they can get. Having celebrities involved are cool but if most of the budget goes to them I would rather they just use actual voice actors, though it might be cool to listen to a Joe Rogan podcast in game😅

Many of my programming students wanted to develop games. I warned them that game developers were exploited: low pay and long hours. The highest paying field is security: 6 figure first job starting pay. Glamour: little. But you will have all the money you want to buy all the games. 😊

Man you never fail to impress me two videos per day the team must be massive

Thank you Sam and Dan the Houser brothers for coming up with this groundbreaking piece of art. 🤘

Lol I remember growing up in my teens in early 2000's when GTA Vice City came out and sometimes when I'd be all high and drunk and get home late I would get a kick out of just driving around the streets listening to power 99 😆 or whatever that channel was. I rarely ever played the game to complete the missions I really only played to drive around chillin Lol

Red Dead Redemption 2 cost roughly $540 Million to make, so that would be the leading game. Not Star Citizen.

Rockstar is one of that last studios gamers, especially older gamers, can trust to deliver a solid, working, and engaging initial release. Only Valve has delivered as or more consistently with a quality-at-launch product. A lot, lot, LOT of AAA projects have fallen flat for simply being rushed to market for return. Rockstar can't afford to let this fail and is taking the time to get it right.
