Han in Carbonite - Scratch Built (Re-worked trousers)

This is my Han Solo in Carbonite build - with reworked trousers. The face is a cast of the original Harrison Ford cast made for The Empire Strikes Back. The Hands are mine - molded in alginate & cast in plaster of paris containing a polimer. The base is MDF & plywood, The body - including the creases in the shirt & pants are chicken wire & ceiling plaster. As for the panels: one panel was made in foam board, from which a mold was made & the other 7 were cast in resin. The panel lights were supplied by Jon Gohlke of Fettronics (my thanks to him, the lights are brilliant). The paint job is 5 kinds of automotive silver paint. Finished with an oil based pin wash & rub n buff.
